Once again, the USHL has placed a large number of players in the January Central Scouting rankings for the 2025 NHL Draft.
With 63 non-goaltenders listed by Central Scouting (goaltenders are in a separate category), the USHL has the second largest number of players on the North American list, trailing the OHL by just one player. The NDTP placed 17 players on the list to lead all USHL teams.
The North American and European lists have nothing to do with citizenship or birthplace, they are based on where a player is playing this season.
Ten USHL players are ranked among the top 50 skaters (non-goalies), including Jack Murtaugh (NDTP), William Moore (NDTP), Cole McKinney (NDTP), Charleton Tretheway (NDTP), Carter Amico (NDTP), Ryker Lee (Madison), Conrad Fondrk (NDTP), Ben Kevan (Des Moines), Vavlav Nestrasil (Muskegon), and Maceo Phillips (NDTP).
Bjorn Bronas (Sioux City), Patrick Quintana (NTDP), and Kam Hendrickson (Waterloo) made the list of the top 30 draft eligble North American goalies.
